Context

Users frequently want to compare two companies patent portfolios to understand competitive positioning. There is no dedicated UI for this today.

What to do

  • Add a "Compare" page (or modal) that accepts two company names.
  • Fetch analysis data for both companies (reusing existing API endpoints).
  • Display key metrics side-by-side: total patents, top technology categories, innovation score, filing trend.
  • Link from the existing Analytics page.

Acceptance criteria

  • A user can select two companies and see a side-by-side comparison.
  • All major metric categories are represented.
  • The page is responsive and consistent with the existing design.
