Background

Users want to compare two companies patent portfolios directly. Currently they must switch between separate views.

Task

  1. Add a "Compare" page or modal in the frontend that accepts two company names
  2. Fetch analysis results for both companies in parallel
  3. Display a side-by-side layout showing: patent counts, top technology categories, innovation scores, and recent filing trends
  4. Highlight significant differences between the two portfolios

Acceptance Criteria

  • User can select two companies to compare
  • Both portfolios are displayed side by side
  • Differences in key metrics are visually highlighted
  • Works with cached results (does not require re-analysis)
