Roadmap reference

Phase 6 — Pre-launch: DNS for all leeworks.dev subdomains. Complements leeworks-agents/api-company#33 (original 6) and leeworks-agents/api-company#106 (grafana as 7th).

Problem

Issue #33 lists 6 subdomains to configure DNS for (zip, holidays, aqi, docs, status, registry). Issue #106 added grafana.leeworks.dev as a 7th. VIN Decoder (vin.leeworks.dev) was added as a 4th API in issue #117, and its Flux Ingress manifest was committed in issue #130 (closed ✅). However, neither #33 nor #106 includes vin.leeworks.dev in the DNS batch the operator must configure.

What the operator must do

When configuring DNS (issues #33 + #106), also add:

Subdomain Target
vin.leeworks.dev cluster ingress IP

This must be done in the same DNS batch as the other 7 subdomains (do all 8 together):

dig vin.leeworks.dev +short  # should return cluster ingress IP after configuration
curl -I https://vin.leeworks.dev  # should return 200 or redirect from VIN Decoder service

Acceptance criteria

  • dig vin.leeworks.dev +short returns the cluster ingress IP
  • curl -I https://vin.leeworks.dev returns a non-5xx response from the VIN Decoder ingress
  • TLS certificate is issued for vin.leeworks.dev by cert-manager
  • Issues #33 and #106 should not be closed until this subdomain is also confirmed working
